The help page

Q. Why do I need to register?

A. You don't! For the majority of the site it doesn't matter whether you are logged in or not. However, if you want to be able to use the site to manage your availability then the site needs to know who you are and so you must login. If you don't login, the only difference you will notice is that you won't be able to access the My Availability link and will need to let the match managers know your availability in some other way.

Q. Where's the availability form?

A. See the answer above - once you login you will have access to your personal availability information which you can update at any time during the season. It will even tell you which games you've been selected for.

Q. How do I submit match reports? How do I suggest new features? How do I complain about the colour scheme?

A. You can always use the Contact Us form to send us a message of any sort. Although it allows you to give an email address if you want a reply, you don't have to provide one if you'd prefer not to.

If you must complain about the colours, please be prepared to offer suggestions for an acceptable and appropriate alternative!

Q. I don't understand the L.B.W. law - how does it work?

A. If you don't understand what consitutes an L.B.W. then don't worry - you're in good company. It seems that a significant number of our members have difficulty with this law, particularly when they are batting. As a rule of thumb, it's a good idea to go with the umpire's decision. If you are the umpire then have a look at the Links page and see what the folks at Lords have to say.

Q. I can't bat/bowl - how do improve my averages?

A. It's always helpful if you can start with an element of raw talent but, failing that, you could always try some practice in the Nets - hey, Geoff Boycott tried it and what an exciting cricketer he became!
