The Rob Foot Leukaemia Fund

Rob Foot was a cricketer who epitomised the Mandarin spirit. Rob always put everything he had into his cricket, as with everything else he did, and was accomplished both as a quick bowler and a destructive batsman. Rob's contribution, however, was certainly not limited to events on the field as anyone who toured with Rob can testify. When Rob was diagnosed with Leukaemia he faced this challenge with predictable courage, tenacity and good humour. He fought his condition for over two years but was unable to beat the disease and died on November 5th 2002.
