We will once again be playing the Royal College of Defence Studies at Burton Lodge on Wednesday 28th July. You can sign up in the usual place.

The (eagerly awaited) 2010 fixture list is now available and you can sign up for games in the normal way. Almost all the names will be familiar although some of the grounds still need to be confirmed.

Results : 2009 averages now available

Barring a few minor tweaks (you can appeal to me for a fee), the 2009 averages are now available. Congratulations to Michael Pattison for managing to sneak the ducks league title with a mere three ducks...

Mandarins : 2010 nets - dates now confirmed

As usual, there are a number of net sessions available for those who feel themselves in need of a little preparation for the rigours of the new season. The pattern is essentially the same as last year with nets available at The Oval and Lords. Graeme Tunbridge is again coordinating the nets and full details of dates and times can be found on the Nets page.

Results : A hard fought draw at Brill

The Mandarins cause at Brill was somewhat hampered by a late withdrawl but the 10 Mandarins did well to restrict our hosts to 215 for 8. In reply, the Mandarin middle order displayed its characteristically English frailty and it was ultimately left to the final pairing to battle it out for a draw.
